Team Classic Equine Takes Canada

November 11- 15 will mark the 42nd Annual Canadian Finals Rodeo. Team Classic Equine will have two players from Texas that qualified to the coveted event, Taylor Jacob and Aimee Kay.

This will be both barrel racer’s first qualification to the event. Aimee Kay is in the top 7 in the standings while Taylor Jacob is running for the gold buckle sitting 2nd.

Taylor Jacob is not a new name to the rodeo world. She and her horse Honor Thy Frenchman, aka Bo, have taken the rodeo world by storm the past three years. They are the current arena record holders in the Thomas and Mack Arena and have qualified for their second NFR! Bo has been a machine all summer and we look forward to seeing this team rally back.

Aimee Kay and her horse Daisy have had a tremendous amount of success in a short period of time. Daisy is a four year old that Aimee raised and trained out of PC Frenchmans Hayday and a Pie in the Sky mare. As a three year old, Daisy won the coveted BFA Juvenile $100K Slot Race. Instead of entering the futurities for her four year old year, Aimee chose to rodeo on her. They qualified for RFD-TV’s The American and it has been a whirlwind ever since. Daisy is the only four year old to ever qualify for the Canadian Finals and this team is going to be ones to watch and they’re just getting started.

We wish the best of luck to our competitors and can’t wait to watch them PLAY TO WIN.

When it Comes to Vegas, We Play to Win

The rodeo season came to an end last week and this week is rodeo’s New Year. Some will be relieved with a clean slate, while the the Top 15 in the Windham Weaponry World Standings have a lot more to prove before 2015 ends. With more added money than ever before at the 2015 NFR, this year should be one for the record books and there are bound to be records broken. Classic Equine is proud to present their 11 team members and wish them the best of luck in preparation and performance at the National Finals Rodeo.
